Meet the Client
Pathway Discipleship is a faith-based nonprofit focused on stateside discipleship mission work. Through coaching, mentoring, and addiction recovery support, they walk alongside individuals who are rebuilding their lives and growing in their faith.
Their work is deeply personal and relational. They spend their days in real conversations, praying with people, guiding them through difficult seasons, and helping them find freedom and direction in Christ.
As their coaching and recovery programs grew, they knew they needed a website that could:
-
Clearly communicate who they are and what they offer
-
Provide next steps for people seeking help
-
Give supporters, partners, and churches a trusted place to learn more
That’s where the Website in a Day came in.
The Challenge: Turning a Mission into a Clear Online Home
Pathway Discipleship had a powerful mission and active programs, but they needed a website that reflected the heart and clarity of their work.
They were looking for:
-
A simple, easy-to-navigate website that didn’t feel overwhelming
-
A way to explain their coaching, mentorship, and addiction recovery programs in plain language
-
A platform that would be easy to update as their ministry grows
-
A fast, guided process so they weren’t stuck in a months-long website build
With everything else on their plate, they needed someone who could step in, lead the process, and deliver a polished Kajabi site in a single focused sprint.
The Strategy: A Guided, One-Day Build on Kajabi
We kicked off the project with my Website in a Day framework:
-
Client questionnaire: to understand their mission, audience, and programs
-
ClickUp client portal: a shared board for prep tasks, logins, and content (so nothing was floating in email threads)
-
45-minute prep call: to walk through their vision, priorities, and any must-have content for launch
The strategy for Pathway Discipleship was to:
-
Keep the design clean, warm, and approachable
-
Organize the site around who they are, how they help, and how to take the next step
-
Use Kajabi’s built-in tools so they can manage content themselves after launch
-
Launch quickly without sacrificing clarity or quality
The Solution: A Custom Kajabi Website in One Day
Over five focused hours of design time, plus Voxer support and revision time, we built out a complete Kajabi site tailored to their ministry.
Core Website Pages
Within the 5-page Website in a Day structure, we created:
-
A homepage that introduces their mission and invites visitors into the story and to donate
-
Key pages that explain their mission recovery in clear, compassionate language
-
Supporting pages that guide visitors to learn more, reach out, or get involved
Each page was designed to be:
-
Easy to skim
-
Clear about who the ministry serves
-
Rooted in the hope and transformation at the center of their work
Blog Design & Setup
Because teaching and encouragement are a big part of discipleship, we also:
-
Designed and set up the blog Home, Search, and Post layouts in Kajabi
-
Styled the blog to match the rest of the site for a seamless experience
-
Uploaded and formatted one initial blog post, complete with images, links, and SEO settings
This gives Pathway Discipleship a place to share ongoing stories, devotionals, and resources without needing extra tools.
Support & Handover
A big part of Website in a Day is making sure the client feels confident after launch, not dependent on a designer for every small change.
For Pathway Discipleship, that looked like:
-
DIY Website Content Writing Guide
-
Provided before Design Day to help them prepare strong, clear content
-
-
Voxer support on Design Day
-
Real-time feedback, quick decisions, and zero guesswork
-
-
Two hours of revisions at the end of Design Day
-
Space to refine sections, tweak copy, or adjust layout once they saw everything live
-
-
Access to training videos
-
Short walkthroughs so they can edit text, swap images, and add new posts with confidence
-
-
Two weeks of follow-up email support
-
A safety net while they start using and sharing their new site
-
The Results: A Website That Exceeded Expectations
By the end of Design Day, Pathway Discipleship had a live, fully functional Kajabi website that reflects the heart of their ministry and makes it easy for people to learn more and get connected.
Here’s what they shared about the experience:
“Rebecca did an amazing job designing our website. She was very friendly, yet professional, and she was a real pleasure to work with. We are so happy with how our site turned out. It exceeded our highest expectations!”
They rated their experience 5 stars and now have:
-
A website they’re proud to share with potential clients, partners, and supporters
-
Clear pathways for people who need coaching, mentorship, or addiction recovery support
-
The tools and training to confidently maintain and grow their site over time
Why This Build Matters (Especially for Faith-Based Nonprofits)
For ministries and faith-based nonprofits, a website is often the first place someone encounters your mission, sometimes in a very vulnerable moment.
A streamlined Kajabi site like this helps:
-
Clearly communicate who you help and how
-
Give visitors next steps that feel simple and accessible
-
Support your ongoing teaching and updates through a blog
-
Free up your time so you can stay focused on the people you serve
And on a fun personal note: this project is the one I completed right as I became Design Day Certified, making it a special milestone for NerdVision Studio, too.
Frequently Asked Questions About One-Day Websites in Kajabi
What is a Website in a Day?

Is a One-Day Website enough for a nonprofit?
For many ministries and small organizations, yes. We focus on the most important pages first, so you launch with a clear, complete site you can build on later.
